Heart Banner Flags - Free Planner Printable

Hi everyone. Welcome back for another Free Planner Sticker Printable.

Customer Service from Onlinelabels.com emailed me and said that they have noticed that I have bought quite a bit of their paper and had noticed that I have linked to their site quite a bit on my blog and asked me if there was any of their paper that I would like to try and they could send me some samples and I jumped at the chance! (I am not sponsored or paid by them to blog about this. They are honestly the best paper company that I have dealt with and I have talked about them since I started this blog over a year ago now.)

Any way, I saw Silhouette School Blog show that she had some foiled paper from them. So I asked to be sent some Gold and Silver Foiled Paper, White CardstockMagnetic White Glossy, as well their new Chalkboard Paper. If you can think of any tutorials you would like to see using these sheets of paper, let me know and I will come up with a blog post and template for them.

But for this post, I am using the Foiled Paper. I used a tutorial from Silhouette School HERE, on how to print on Foiled Sticker Paper. And here were my results using the Gold Foiled Paper:
You can't really tell from the picture, but the banner flags are cut on a diagonal, but the hearts inside of the banner flags cut just fine. The Foil Paper does not look to be a true Letter Size Paper and might be the reason the Silhouette cut on a diagonal when I used the removable matte registration mark method from the Silhouette School Tutorial linked above. This is only a guess, because my Silhouette does not normally cut on a diagonal. Notice the gap in the top right corner on the Gold Foil Paper and the Removable Matte Paper that I printed the registration marks on and stuck to the Gold Foil Paper:

In the end, I decided to keep the Goil Paper I cut, because I can still use the hearts in the middle. I removed the banner flags and the trim and I think in this picture you can tell a little better that my Silhouette cut at a diagonal:
I decided to try to print the Registration Marks directly on the Silver Foiled Paper and here are the results:
Not gonna lie, it would not automatically register on my Silhouette. I had to manually move the red light over the top left square so it would read, but as you can see, the cut lines were perfect!

Now for the free printables...there are two printables in this post. The first one is some colored banner flags with hearts in the middle will not cut. The second is the Template that I used for the Foiled Paper. With this file, the heart in the middle will cut as well as the Banner Flag, essentially giving you two stickers in one. This one you will only be able to use if you have a Silhouette.

Click on the actual picture for the jpeg file, click the links below each picture for the pdf file, and studio3 file with the cutlines included for your Silhouette Cutting Machine (this is the exact bundle I bought). You can cut these out buy hand using Scissors (these are the scissors I use when I cut by hand).

  1. Love the foiled idea!! If you're just going to to us the silhouette to cut the foiled sticker paper, you don't need the registration marks! It will know where to cut and doesn't need to align anything. I've tried it to make stickers 'blanks' to stamp on with white sticker paper and didn't need the registration marks. Just like if you are going to cut a shape from card stock. Thanks for sharing :)

    1. I never even that about not needing registration marks for the foiled paper! You are a genius! It's pretty much like cutting vinyl and your Silhouette will know what to do! I just saw that video from Silhiuette School and thought that was what needed to be done.
