April 2016 Monthly Cover Squares - Free Planner Printable

Hello again! Welcome back for another Monthly Cover Squares Post. I hope you guys still love these as much as I do. I honestly hardly ever look at my monthly spread more than once a week and I love to just decorate the whole thing at once and get it over with. These just make it so easy!

So I was googling "Rainy Quotes" and nothing was jumping out at me to use for this months theme. Then it occurred to me....something from my childhood jumped out at me. My dad would turn on his stereo system in our house and record songs from vinyl records to tapes to play in his car. I remember hearing this song as a kid and it struck a cord with me. Now every time I hear this song, I get all choked up thinking about how much fun me and all of my siblings would have bouncing around and dancing to my dads stereo system. This song reminds me of my dad and all of the good times I had with him. The song I am referring to is "I Love a Rainy Night" by Eddie Rabbitt. This printable is so personal and means so much to me. Some of you might not relate to the quote so I went ahead and made a version without the quote at the bottom, just in case.

Either version you use is fine with me. I just love the way the colors go together and I feel like this quote fits this printable perfectly. Out of all of the Monthly Cover Squares I have made, this one by far has to be my favorite.

I have made a set with and without the Quote for both the Erin Condren and Happy Planners.

This printables colors do not go with April's Color Theme in the Erin Condren Life Planner, so I decided to make the Top Headers on both of the pages and the Goals Side Bar as well. I made a picture tutorial HERE and posted it with the January 2016 post, showing you how I lay down the monthly cover squares in my Erin Condren Planner. Follow these same steps first and then add the Top Headers and Goals Side Bar after you lay down all of the monthly squares.

Also, you do not have to cut up each square and lay each down individually. My sister has a Happy Planner and I just print her the PDF version and she just cuts around the whole big square and lays the whole sticker down to cover her month. It's really your preference and what you want to do the printable.

Here is a preview of all of the available downloads you can choose from. Each picture has the PDF and Studio3 links right below so you don't have to try and guess which ones you need:

    1. This was mentioned today in facebook groups, there are tutorials on how to size things to fit whichever planner you choose. The fact that the new happy was not 1.5" squares is why I did not get the larger one, there are so many groups, blogs, etc. with printables (free & paid) sized to 1.5" that I stayed with the original happy planner, I figure the majority of freebies are all 1.5" the height I can play with but I work around what is already out there...

    2. Cheryl, I don't think so. I have an Erin Condren and my sister has the regular size Happy Planner. I make stickers for our planners and post them to my blog. It is already so much work with these two planners that I don't want to take on another one too. I hope you understand.

  5. This is AWESOME. I've been looking for month layouts for a while that I actually like (as I'm not huge into pink or lace), and this is the first one that I've actually been excited to download and put into my planner. I'm going to print it right now. Thank you SO much for creating, and sharing your creations!

    1. You are so welcome. I have made 5 monthly layouts now and this is by far my favorite! Probably because it has so much sentimental value to me, but the colors are so me as well. Make sure to check back the middle of each month to see the next months design too. :)

    1. Why can't you download them? You are the first person who has not been able to download them. Just want to check on my end. Email me at myplannerenvy@gmail.com and I can try and send them to you. Just put the file name in the subject box so I know what you need.
