How to make Icon Planner Stickers

This video ended up being super long! I didn't realize how long it was and honestly when I make my printables, I don't realize how long I sit designing. It relaxes me and I enjoy it. I thought I would make this video for those of you who want to make icon shapes for yourself.

I don't pay the bills in my household, so I don't use these for bill paying, buy I could make these for the dentist using a tooth icon, or the doctor using a stethoscope icon, and so on and so on. The possibilities are endless! You can customize these for your planner using the colors for the month in your Erin Condren or what I like to do is make a full page of one icon in as many color combos as I can so I always have one the matches no matter what my color scheme is for that week.

In this video I show you how to make those circle icon stickers for your planner using the silhouette software. In the video I show you how to:

Make a circle
Put a bleed around your circle using the Offset feature
Where I get my icons that I use in my printables from
How to Trace the icon to change the color if you don't want it black
Using the dropper to make your custom color with the Fill feature

HERE is a link for the Shape Template that I showed in the video

Sorry again for the rambling chaos that my videos tend to be. I keep hoping to get better, but I don't think I will. I am just a nervous person! Thanks for watching and leave any comments or questions in the comment section and I will get back to you.

If you found this printable useful and are new to this site, go to my original blogs at and to see many other free printables designed for your planners.

If you print and use these in your planner, tag @myplannerenvy on Instagram so I can see them. It really makes my day when I see that others are using my free printables, plus it gives me new inspiration on how I can decorate my own planner too. :)

Also, when I post the studio3 files to my blog, they are ready to print and cut and you don’t have to do a thing. You don’t need to add cut line. As long as your printer settings are set to Print Actual Size and/or the Scale Setting is set at 100% or less, you should not have any problems with your Silhouette registering. If you do, click HERE for a post I did with tips on cutting, printing, downloading, and Silhouette files tips and tricks. You might find it helpful if you are having issues with my files or any other files on the internet.

  1. I enjoy your videos! They are very informative, please make more! :)

    1. I need to make more videos. What kind of videos would you like to see?

  2. How do you use these stickers? Do you print them out with special printer paper? Or do you just use regular sticker paper and you have to use a stamp cutter to cut them out?

    1. You can print them out on Sticker Paper. I use paper from and I cut them out using my Silhouette, but you can definitely print them on regular paper and cut them out by hand or use a circle punch from the craft store.
