December 2015 Monthly Cover Squares for the Happy Planner - Free Planner Printable

Okay. I am back with an impromptu post because I posted a picture on my Facebook Page of my December 2015 Calendar from my Happy Planner using this printable, asking if you guys wanted this as a printable and there was an overwhelming response of yes, so here it is!

I have seen this idea all over Groups I follow on Facebook. I am not the original person that came up with this. I just thought I would try my hand at this. HERE is a post from Joy who posted this to her website yesterday (Which I honestly didn't see before I made this). I first saw this picture HERE by Kimberely Famisaran Rudder and thought, "Hey I could do that too!", so I did!

I thought this picture represented December very well and also because this picture has a very neutral color palette. And for those of you who decorate you calendar pages, if you choose to decorate with bright or Christmas colors, your decorations will stand out from the background.

In the pictures of my Happy Planner Pages down below, my original square size was just a little shy of covering the whole square, so I tweaked the squares and made them so you shouldn't have much of the original box showing anymore. Also, I did make the lines of the pdf white like you see below, that way you can tell where to cut, but also for those of you who don't want to cut a million squares. You can still use this printable by just cutting around the whole image and you can slap that whole thing down and you will have all of the calendar squares still sectioned off.

Font used on the numbers is His Name Is Honey downloaded from kevinandamanda.com. Here is a preview of the printables and the links are right below each of the photos:

Here is a preview of how it looks in my planner. Keep in mind, this is my original design before I tweaked the square size. These were just a bit too small, but they still work:

I hope you guys like them. Let me know what you think or if you have an issues. And as always, thanks for your support and for stopping by!

If you print and use these in your planner, tag @myplannerenvy on Instagram so I can see them. It really makes my day when I see that others are using my free printables, plus it gives me new inspiration on how I can decorate my own planner too. :)

Also, when I post the studio3 files to my blog, they are ready to print and cut and you don’t have to do a thing. You don’t need to add cut line. As long as your printer settings are set to Print Actual Size and/or the Scale Setting is set at 100% or less, you should not have any problems with your Silhouette registering. If you do, click HERE for a post I did with tips on cutting, printing, downloading, and Silhouette files tips and tricks. 1. They won't. I am working with one of my Facebook Erin Condren Planner users followers to get the dimensions just right. I don't have one and it's a kind of tedious process. I will post a printable as soon as I know they will work for you.

  6. Hi

Your printables are great. Thanks for your work. But I have a problem with the letter size. I live in Germany and we have only the size a4. The double from a5. Do you know that? I had to resize the format and then everything changes and it does not fit everything on it. Could you can do that in the future?
    That would be awesome.

    Greetings from Germany

    1. What you can do is download the Silhouette Software and download the studio3 file that I provide. You can change the paper size in the program itself from letter size to an A4 and print it out. You don't have to have the actual cutting machine to use the software to change the size and print. Try this and let me know if it works for you.

    2. Hi. Thanks for your answer. I have the design edition. I change to a4 and change to portrait mat. But I have to delete some things, it fits not on the a4 size. Hope you understand me. :-)

    3. I went onto the Silhouette Software and changed the dimensions of the paper to A4 and there was nothing that needed to be cut off, so I don't know what you mean. You just have to select the actual page and the cutlines both at the same time and group them together and you can move them wherever you need them to be on the A4 size page/drawing area. You can even change the Registration Marks to be further out so that you have more area on your A4 page so that less has to be cut off. Maybe I could make a Youtube video showing you what I mean. Would that help?

    1. I will put that on my To Record List and get on it as soon as I can. Maybe after I post it, you could try it and reply in the comments and let me know if it works for you? I would try on my own, but I don't have A4 Paper. :)

  8. I tried clicking on the link you posted for the youtube video and it's not there anymore. I was wanting to use the same idea to try and make my own washi strips. Because no matter what I do, I can't seem to get it to work. Could you tell me how to get my cut lines right? Or repost the video?

    1. Yeah I took that video down because it was so long and rambly. I have been thinking of recording and posting a new one, but my kids are on summer break and I really don't have a moment to myself to sit and record without being interrupted. Maybe when they go back I can start recording again.
